When you book a course with us you accept our terms and conditions. Please make sure that you understand what you are accepting. If there is anything you do not understand or would like further information, please contact us at [email protected]

General

Candidates agree to the craft and equipment allocated to them. The craft and equipment must comply with the MCA standards. MOSS reserves the right to terminate your course at any time if behavior is unacceptable. In this instance we have no obligation to pay for any return travel costs or refund any monies paid to us. MOSS is not responsible for any loss or damage to your personal possessions whilst you are with us. A Parent or Legal Guardian must accompany anyone under the age of eighteen on any of our courses. They must also sign a consent form for all under eighteens on our courses.

Bookings and Deposit

The posting of a signed application to Marien Offshore Sailing School (MOSS) or a telephone booking or an email booking or an online booking followed by an acceptance letter or email or phone call from MOSS forms the basis of a contract. Bookings will only be accepted when accompanied by the appropriate deposit. The deposit for one day courses is the full course amount.

The deposit for all other courses is €100 per person (except where specifically indicated otherwise). Deposits are non refundable. Deposits for charter and delivery will be quoted at the time of booking. Full payment must be made (and cleared with our bank) by one calendar month before the course, charter or delivery start date. If full payment is not made by this date MOSS reserves the right to cancel your booking. Courses and charters booked within one month of the start date must have been paid the full fee at the time of booking.

What is Included?

Prices for Sail cruising practical courses include accommodation on board. Meals on board are included except for one evening meal, which is usually taken ashore. Mooring fees, diesel, gas, and general boat expenses are included. Personal Protective Clothing All candidates are provided with a life jacket or buoyancy aid (as appropriate) for all practical courses afloat. Footwear is not provided.
